Hi, I’m Evan. I’m a dude in my mid-twenties living in Vancouver trying to figure out what it means to live well. I love to play outside (soccer, tennis, cycling, trail running, camping… you name it). I’m a chiefs fan, a twin, a son, a brother, an uncle, and single!

These days I’m focused on my non-profit Real and trying to meet as many people as possible who are up for doing cool shit.

What I'm thinking about

  • Economics + Progress — What do different factions believe about progress? How exactly does ‘getting rich’ affect human flourishing? What’s waiting for us on the horizon?
  • Tech + Digital Hygiene — How can we turn our tech back into tools that serve our ends? How has our new hyperconnected and hyper-visual world changed us? What are people doing about it?
  • Architecture + Urban Living — More and more of us will likely continue to move to, and live in, cities. They’re potentially our most important invention. How can we make them better?
  • Mindfulness + The Deep Life — To be more patient. To steadily lessen negative emotions. To pay attention to what I pay attention. To live well.
